Recently my girlfriend purchased a new condo. We were at Home Depot on Sunday to purchase a bunch of things, some of which were new toilet seat covers for both of the bathrooms. We found these Kohler toilet seats that have a hinge that keeps you from accidentally slamming down a toilet seat. When you're done, you just gently nudge the seat and it slowly closes on it's own. It's great. However there's one flaw...
You forget that not all toilet seats have that, and you end up slamming down every other toilet seat you come across!
It's very embarassing! Keep in mind that she hasn't had the condo all that long. The idea is so good and so effective that you fall completely into the routine of it. The catch is that it creates a situation where you end up accidentally feeling like the moron who doesn't know how to operate a toilet seat.

OMG! We got those in our new house and I am so used to it that I slam t-seats ALL the time. It is funny that now you have experienced the humiliation I have faced ever since getting them.
When ever it happens and you come out of the b-room people are like "Take it easy!"
