Jacob and I spoke onstage with Tim O'Reilly at the O'Reilly Radar Executive Briefing at eTech today. I think I've finally hit the place where I'm very relaxed about speaking. It's starting to feel pretty natural. I'm actually looking forward to having the opportunity to give an entire presentation by myself. We didn't get to see much else today, but we did get to see Jeff Jonas have a conversation with Tim. Jeff has to be one of the most fascinating people I've ever heard speak. His company, which was recently sold to IBM, created a system called NORA which stands for "non-obvious relationship awareness". I won't even begin to try to explain it, because I won't do it any justice. Check him out if you get a chance.
After our session we ran into the guys who brought Jake, Jacob and myself out to Copenhagen to speak last year. It was great to see those guys. We decided to eat at the conference, so we headed outside for a little buffet dining. There was almost no seating, so we found a table with a few open spots. We randomly happened to sit down with a guy who works for the BBC for Radio 1 and 1Xtra - home Pete Tong's Essential Mix as well as a bunch of my other favorite drum n bass shows. Threadless partnership opportunities abound!
